From the result of consideration through literature research about the oriental and western medical methods of sex selection, the results were summarized as follows:
1. Theory of sex selection in oriental medicine is able to be largely divide into 2 that is theory of Bun-Nam-Yeo, method of Jeon-Yeo-Wi-Nam.
2. according to theory of Shi-Cha, theory of Cheong-Hyul-Shng-Boo, positional theory and so on have lots of similarity to the modern western medical theory. 3. In oriental medicine, because an embryo´s sex is nat determination with three months after pregnancy it is accepted that the method of Jeon-Yeo-Wi-Nam or Herb medication can change the embryo´s sex and the prescription was mainly Yuk-Mi-Ji-Hwaung-Tang -Ga-Oo-JA or Yuk-Mi-Ji-Hwhaung-Tang-Ga herb-medicines of promote blood flow (Hwal-Hyul-Je).
4. In western medicine, because they know that an embryo´s sex is determine at the same time of fertilization, the method of sex determination is that they are trying to improve environment of the parents before fertilization.
5. The main method of sex determination in western medicine is to control several environments to improve the activity of Y-spermatozoon or X-spermatozoon and to select the spermatozoon.
